Yoco Payments for HealthAccess Practices
Make it easier for patients to pay. Send a payment link for a deposit, quote, invoice or statement, and have the payment recorded against that item in HealthAccess. Practices can also explore Yoco card machines and point-of-sale options through our referral partnership.
Convenient payments at the moments that matter
Payment is not one moment in a practice. It happens when a booking is made, when a quote or plan is accepted, and when an invoice or statement is settled — and each one is easier when the payment lands back on the item it belongs to.
At booking
Send a link for an appointment deposit when the booking is made. It is recorded against that appointment.
On a quote or plan
Send a link against a quote or treatment plan, so the deposit or payment sits with the item it belongs to.
On invoices and statements
Send a link to settle an invoice or outstanding statement balance, kept in the patient’s account history.
HealthAccess manages the practice.
Yoco supports the payment.
Two separate companies, two separate jobs. It is worth being precise about which is which.

Different practices need different things
Some practices only ever send a payment link. Some need a card machine at reception, or one that moves between rooms. Some want a full point-of-sale setup. Most end up with a combination — and any of them is a sensible choice.
A payment link
Send a link for a deposit, quote, invoice or statement. The patient pays from wherever they are, and it is recorded against that item in HealthAccess.
Explore online payments ↗A card machine that moves
For practitioners who take payment in the treatment room, or anywhere other than a fixed desk.
Explore card machines ↗A counter setup
A fixed point at reception, with printed slips and retail products if your practice sells them.
Explore point of sale ↗A combination, or not sure
Most practices land here. Yoco’s product finder asks a few questions and suggests a setup.

Frequently asked questions
What is the relationship between HealthAccess and Yoco?
Two separate companies. HealthAccess is your practice management and clinical-record platform; Yoco is a payments company providing card machines, point of sale and online payments. HealthAccess is a Yoco referral partner — a commercial introduction, not a technical connection between the two companies — and does not own, control, resell or provide Yoco’s services, or decide pricing, eligibility or approval.
What can a payment be collected against?
An appointment, a quote, a treatment plan, an invoice or a statement balance. A payment link can be sent for any of them, so the patient pays from wherever they are, and the payment and receipt are recorded in HealthAccess against the item they settle.
Which parts connect to HealthAccess today?
Payment links. A connected experience for card machines and point of sale is coming soon — until then both work exactly as they normally do, and payments taken on them are recorded in HealthAccess the way your practice records any other payment. You do not need a card machine to use payment links, and you should not avoid one if you take payment in person: choose the setup that suits your practice, and the connection will follow.
Which Yoco option should my practice choose?
It depends on how you take payment. A practice that bills remotely may need nothing more than payment links; a practitioner working between rooms wants a card machine that moves; a busy reception may want a fixed counter setup. Start from the four options above, or use Yoco’s product finder, which asks a few questions and suggests a setup. Current products and pricing are on Yoco’s site.
Do I need to be an existing Yoco customer, and how do I sign up?
No, and practices already using Yoco can carry on as they are. To get started, use any of the “Explore Yoco” links on this page — they open Yoco in a new tab, where you can view products and apply directly with Yoco.
Does HealthAccess receive a referral benefit?
Yes. HealthAccess may earn a referral benefit when a practice signs up through our link. It does not change what you pay Yoco, and Yoco sets all pricing and approval decisions independently.
Who do I contact for support?
Yoco for anything to do with your merchant account, card machine, pricing, approval or a transaction. HealthAccess for anything to do with invoices, quotes, treatment plans, statements, patient accounts or the rest of your practice-management functionality.
