Who We Serve

Plastic Surgery Practice Software

A plastic surgery patient takes weeks to decide and months to recover. HealthAccess keeps every step in one patient record — enquiry, consultation, treatment plan and quote, photographs, paperwork, billing and follow-up.

The long gap between
enquiry and follow-up

HealthAccess is practice management software for plastic surgery practices in South Africa.

Most of that journey happens outside the consulting room. The practice needs the same record in front of it every time the patient makes contact — whether that is next week or next year.

1

Enquiry

First contact and registration, with the consultation booked and confirmed.

2

Consultation

History, notes and photographs recorded against the patient.

3

Plan and quote

A treatment plan and quotation the patient can take away and consider.

4

Preparation

Questionnaires, consent and pre-care completed before the day.

5

Follow-up

Post-care, automated review reminders and shared documents over the months after.

Treatment plans,
quotations and invoicing

A surgical quote is a decision document. Build the plan against the patient's record, quote it, and invoice from the same place when the patient goes ahead.

  • Treatment plans and quotations, itemised by procedure
  • Deposits collected against a plan or booking
  • Billing Templates for the procedures, products and services you bill most often
  • Relevant ICD-10 and procedure codes carried on the invoice where they apply

More on billing and inventory.

Photographs across
the whole timeline

Capture photographs in HealthAccess or upload them from a device. They file against the patient, organised by date and area, so the pre-operative set and every review sit in one sequence.

  • Photographs stay with the record rather than on a phone or a shared drive
  • Organised by date and area, with your own labels
  • Comparisons for reviewing where the patient was and where they are now

More on clinical photography and comparisons.

Paperwork done before the patient arrives

Send your questionnaires and consent documents as secure links. The patient completes and signs them at home, and they file against the record.

Your documents, digitised

Your practice's own questionnaires and consent wording, completed and signed digitally rather than on paper at the desk.

Completed before the day

Sent ahead as secure links, so the consultation or admission is not spent filling in forms.

Filed where you need them

Signed documents sit with the notes, photographs and plan for the same patient.

Recovery, follow-up and
the patient's own view

Recovery is where a surgical practice earns its reputation, and it is mostly conducted at a distance.

  • Automated post-treatment follow-ups and return-visit reminders, on the schedule you set
  • Your pre- and post-care instructions in the portal, for patients to re-read at 2am
  • Appointments and selected documents shared deliberately, with your written context alongside

More on scheduling and reminders and the myHealthAccess Client Portal.

Reconstructive and
aesthetic work, one record

Whether the procedure is reconstructive or aesthetic, the work in your practice is the same: records, documentation, photographs, paperwork, accounts and follow-up — held together for as long as that patient is yours.

Questions from surgical practices

What is HealthAccess for a plastic surgery practice?

Practice management software for the work that happens in your practice: enquiry and scheduling, patient records and medical history, consultation notes, clinical photography, treatment plans and quotations, digital questionnaires and consent, invoicing, automated follow-up, and patient access through the myHealthAccess Client Portal.

Can we quote a procedure and invoice from the same record?

Yes. A treatment plan and quotation is built against the patient's record, a deposit can be collected against it, and the invoice is produced from the same place with your Billing Templates and the relevant codes where they apply.

How are pre-operative and post-operative photographs handled?

Photographs are captured in HealthAccess or uploaded from a device and filed against the patient, organised by date and area with your own labels, so every set from the first consultation onwards sits in one sequence.

Whose consent wording is used?

Yours. HealthAccess digitises the questionnaires and consent documents your practice already uses, sends them as secure links, and files the signed copy against the record. The clinical content of your consent process stays with the surgeon.

Can post-treatment follow-ups be automated?

Yes. Follow-up messages and return-visit reminders can be set to go out automatically on the schedule you choose, so a patient is still being followed up six or twelve months after a procedure without anyone having to remember it.

What can the patient see?

Their upcoming appointments, forms you have sent, your pre- and post-care instructions, and documents your practice has chosen to share, with your written context alongside. What appears depends on the features your practice uses.

Does it suit both reconstructive and aesthetic work?

Yes. The record in your practice is the same either way, and a patient who returns years later for something different still has one history, one photograph set and one account.
